Thanks for checking us out! We intend to report news and information about the rich media environment here in Arizona. Television, newspapers, radio, magazines, internet, etc.; we will try to touch on 'em all. And, I am sure we will also provide some commentary and get some discussions going.
As someone who is nearly a lifelong Arizonan and has been interested in and involved in media matters here, I - and some of my friends in and out of the media - feel that there has been a drop in coverage of Arizona media at a time when the coverage should be increasing.
This will be the first time that I have tried to use the blog/website megaphone instead of a broadcast microphone. So, you will probably soon see some transitions between this Blogger blog and a more professional-looking blog-website (seems the lines are blurring); from the blogger URL to the domain name I parked some time ago (http://www.mediainaz.com/); and from simply standing in the middle of the internet desert and producing these posts to utilizing Twitter and other means to bring people to this site. (I am very open to suggestions, help, etc.)
